I received a message saying Kinepolis will send me money if I pay a fee first. Is this real?
No, this is a scam. Kinepolis will never ask you to pay money in order to receive a reward, such as for a film review. If you are asked to pay a fee, it’s fraudulent.
Only trust communications and offers from official Kinepolis communication channels or official Kinepolis domains (kinepolis.com, kinepolis.com, kinepolis.be, kinepolis.es, kinepolis.fr, kinepolis.lu, kinepolis.ch, kinepolis.nl).
Kinepolis does not use Telegram.
How do these scams usually work?
Scammers often contact people via email, social media, text, or phone. They may promise money or prizes but first ask you to pay a "processing fee”, "tax” or "deposit" before you can receive your prize or money. Once you pay, they disappear—or ask for even more.
