Why does Kinepolis collect data?

Wherever possible Kinepolis wants to turn its marketing activities into a service, e.g. we do not invite everyone to the same films and events. For example, if we know you like opera, we will invite you to attend opera screenings. In order to achieve this we need to get to know you and consequently gather data on your favourite film genres, your favourite actors and directors, music genres you like, etc.
We also use data to make our services more user friendly: for example, when someone logs on to the website to buy tickets they will not have to enter the e-mail address to which the tickets need to be sent every time.

We also use data for more practical purposes: to deliver products and services you have bought, for customer administration purposes, to facilitate communications with customer services and enable them to follow up any queries or comments you might have, to measure customer satisfaction levels, to help guarantee the safety of our customers and staff (via CCTV in cinemas), to analyse the operation and use of our website and mobile applications, to prevent and identify misuse and fraud and to comply with our legal, accounting and fiscal obligations.
