Are there any 'subscription' packages for cultural events?
It is possible to buy a subscription for several types of events (opera, ballet...). Check the web page with the events overview and click on the category that interests you. The general presentation page relative to that event will specify if it is possible or not to buy a subscription.
Advice: subscribe to our newsletters. You will be notified - before anyone else - when you can buy subscriptions for our seasons and cultural cycles.
Could I get some explanation about the price of a ticket?
For films, at Kinepolis we split them into different categories: 3D, 2D, HFR, etc. 3D films, for example, cost more than digital films.
And as the screening of a film does not depend solely on a cinema's owner, ticket prices are composed of amounts that each have a specific destination. That is why a significant part of a ticket's price goes to the film distributor, and the remainder is split between SACEM and various taxes.
How can I delete Passbook tickets for previous screenings from my Passbook app?
Tickets from previous screenings are not automatically deleted from your Passbook. If you wish to delete them, follow these steps:
- Go to your Passbook app
- Click on the Kinepolis pass you wish to delete.
- In the lower right-hand corner, click on the 'info' icon that is represented by an 'i'.
- Click on the bin in the top left corner to delete it permanently. Is it possible to order tickets from any mobile device?
Given the high diversity of mobile devices, it is possible that the use of "mobile ticketing" is not always optimal.
If you notice any anomalies, we would be grateful if you could let us know at the email address tickets@kinepolis.lu, specifying your device's model and operating system, as well as providing a screen capture ("print screen") if possible. This will enable us to further improve the quality of our system.
Why do I receive e-mails from Kinepolis without having registered for it?
There are several reasons in the law on the basis of which a company may contact someone by e-mail. Subscribing to a newsletter is one of them, but e-mails can for example also be sent to existing clients (such as someone who bought a movie ticket) for similar products or services as those they have bought without having to ask for their explicit consent. Of course it must always be possible to easily unsubscribe via the “unsubscribe button” which you can find in each e-mail.
Am I entitled to a discount for my birthday?

I’m a student in secondary school, can I order the Kinepolis Student Card?
As a secondary school student, you are not entitled to a Kinepolis Student Card (for people between 18 and 30), as you still benefit from the youth discount (from 12 to 18).To obtain the discount, all you need to do is show your official student card to the desk of your Kinepolis cinema.
Where is my Kinepolis Student Card valid, and for how long?
The Kinepolis Student Card is valid in all Kinepolis cinemas in Luxembourg throughout the academic year, in other words from mid-September of the year to the beginning of October of the year after. Each academic year, we publish the expiry date of the Kinepolis Student Card on our website. You will need to request a new Kinepolis Student Card each new academic year.
How does it work?
You can change your movie vouchers for movie tickets, for any movie you want. For movies that are not in 2D (3D, Laser Ultra...) or have extra (cosy seats...), you will need to pay the additional fee when taking the ticket. You can change your movie voucher at the desk of your Kinepolis cinema.
Movie vouchers are not accepted for events or specific actions (unless explicitly mentioned).
