Why can't I bring my own drinks or sweets?
For hygiene and security reasons, it is not permitted to bring your own drinks and snacks to the cinema (brought from home or purchased elsewhere). Kinepolis offers a large selection of drinks and snacks. You will find popcorn, crisps, soft drinks, but also healthy snacks such as fruit juices and water.
What is the expiry date for using a cinema voucher? Can I use it in exceptional circumstances to reserve a cinema seat for a showing that will take place a few days later?
No, the expiry date of your cinema voucher is the last possible day you can use it to access a showing. If your cinema voucher is not, for example, valid after 19th April, you cannot buy tickets for showings that take place after 19th April. In that case, you will have to use your cinema voucher not later than on 19th April, the cheque's expiry date. Take the initiative. Keep an eye on the dates. Write them down in your diary and set a reminder.
For which showings can I use cinema vouchers and advantage cards?

In which cinemas can I validate my cinema vouchers?
In all Kinepolis cinemas in Luxembourg: Kinepolis Kirchberg, Kinepolis Belval and CinŽ Utopia.
Could I get some explanation about the price of a ticket?
For films, at Kinepolis we split them into different categories: 3D, 2D, HFR, etc. 3D films, for example, cost more than digital films.
And as the screening of a film does not depend solely on a cinema's owner, ticket prices are composed of amounts that each have a specific destination. That is why a significant part of a ticket's price goes to the film distributor, and the remainder is split between SACEM and various taxes.
What are your prices?
Click here to select your Kinepolis cinema. On the web page of your chosen venue, you will find information on the 'prices' that you are looking for, with an overview of ticket prices.
Why do I have to pay extra for films that last 2h15 or more?
For films that last 2h10 or more, an extra €1 is charged. Long films have an impact on the listing and on staff planning. For an XL film - maximum enjoyment - you therefore pay a little more.
