Which screening rooms have wheelchair access?
Most Kinepolis screening rooms* have wheelchair access, although there are some screening rooms which don't yet have access. As part of its prevention policy, Kinepolis carries out periodic and advanced checks on the screening rooms. Aspects such as the screening room's location (on the ground or upper floor), the width of the entrances and exits, and its accessibility (stairs, ramps), determine, with other factors, if a room complies or not with strict requirements for a quick evacuation in case of emergency and for wheelchair user access.
It is clearly stated on the website and...
When does the pre-show and the film start?
The pre-program begins 5 minutes before the start of the screening.
The pre-program lasts between 12 and 20 minutes, depending on the period, and consists of advertisements and trailers for films soon to arrive in our cinemas. In very exceptional cases, the local cinema manager may decide to shift the start time slightly.

Why can't I see every film in my Kinepolis cinema?
The listings for Kinepolis cinemas depend on several factors and are created in consultation between Kinepolis, the film distributer and the local cinema manager. In a Kinepolis cinema with less capacity, there are, for example, fewer films than in cinemas with many screens.
The number of copies made available by the film distributer also determines the number of cinemas where the film will be shown. Finally, the decision whether or not to show a film, equally depends upon the anticipated interest of the local community. Once a film is shown in a Kinepolis cinema, a weekly...
How long is a film shown at Kinepolis?
Once a film has been released, it is evaluated from week to week. Depending on its success and public interest, a decision is made on whether to show the film the following week and on which screens. It is therefore not possible to predict weeks in advance how long the film will be shown. It varies from cinema to cinema and it also depends on the public reaction to the film.
I sometimes find the screening rooms too hot or too cold. What can I do?
In our cinemas (except for Utopia), the temperature of the rooms is controlled at all times. If you find that the temperature of a room is unusually hot or cold, please let our staff know. They will verify this immediately and adapt the temperature if needed. We advise you to let them know your seat and row number, so that they can check the air flow that may be bothering you.
In spring and in autumn, when it is warm during the day and cold at night, the oldest of our facilities may not always manage the significant temperature changes and be unable to quickly adjust to the change...
Why do I sometimes have to leave my backpack and/or camera at the front desk?
It is strictly forbidden to record images and copy films, due to copyright laws. To avoid this from happening, it is forbidden to enter our screening rooms with a camera. It is also preferable to leave backpacks for safekeeping (at the front desk, ticket control or according to the cinema's guidelines).
In some screenings, such as previews, it is possible that due to international guidelines from the film's distributor, a security service may be present at the entrance of the screening room, who may ask you to temporarily hand over all your recording equipment (including mobile...
