Who can receive the birthday offer from Kinepolis?
Anyone who has registered online at kinepolis.lu, completed their My Kinepolis profile to 80%, signed up for the newsletter and bought a ticket online in the 12 months preceding their birthday. How does the payment work?
As a Movie Club member, you pay in monthly instalments. When you make your first payment online, you can choose between different payment methods. The instalments will be deducted via the payment method you chose when you made your first payment. You can change your payment method at any time.
The debit will be initiated each month on the same date (= date of your registration). Your monthly cinema ticket will be available as soon as your direct debit has been made.Which data does Kinepolis collect?
We only gather data related to our products and services. For instance, we will never ask you for your shoe size or your political views - to name but a few random examples.
We actually collect the following categories of data: identification and contact data (your name, e-mail address, preferred language, gender, etc.), payment data (to complete payments), transaction data (the tickets and products you bought), film and cinema related preferences, other preferences (sport, music, culture) and other information you provide us with in relation to your My Kinepolis account or another...Does Kinepolis pass on my data to third parties?
For certain services such as website hosting for example, we have to rely on external parties, who can gain access to your data as a result. These parties, which are always carefully selected by Kinepolis, can only act in accordance with our instructions and are obliged to implement appropriate data protection measures and whose access to your data is restricted to what is strictly necessary and unavoidable in order to supply their services.

Right to retract
You have the right to retract / cancel your order and to be reimbursed the purchase price and other costs (except the shipping costs) without justification (only valid for the purchase of Kinepolis giftboxes).

If you have a My Kinepolis account, you will be in a contractual relationship with Kinepolis. In such cases we are not legally obliged to give you the opportunity to oppose the processing of your data, as this processing is considered part of the contract. For instance you can opt out of receiving one or more newsletters via your My Kinepolis account. Obviously you are at liberty to remove your My Kinepolis account at any time.
